What’s your leaning style?

Gardner's Multiple Intelligence

When we identify our learning styles, we become aware of the way we understand and learn something new. Each person has his/her own unique learning style, which many times can be a combination of more than one.

With this in mind, teachers consider different activities that include acting, singing, playing games or dancing so that the learning process is done in a more efficient and pleasant way.

According to educational psychology researchers, there are eight learning styles: kineastetic, intrapersonal, interpersonal, verbal, logical, musical, visual, and naturalistic. Through tests, it is possible to identify what are the dominant styles and the secondary ones of each student.

After identifying your style, and before initiating a new class, check if your future teacher knows and uses a variety of teaching techniques that cater to your way of learning.

Cheers and good luck!
